Licensed Apprentice Solar Electrician

As a Solar Electrician you will install, commission, and maintain photovoltaic systems that deliver clean energy for commercial and industrial clients—turning drawings into reliable arrays while helping us fulfill our mission of meaningful careers and stronger communities.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with the installation, wiring, and maintenance of solar electrical systems
• Assist electricians with electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Install and terminate electrical wiring, conduit, and components
• Assist with solar panels, inverters, disconnects, and associated electrical equipment
• Read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and schematics
• Follow NEC requirements and all applicable electrical and safety codes
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and job-site requirements
• Work effectively as part of a team while taking direction from experienced electricians

What We're Looking For:

• Must hold a valid electrical apprentice license
• Previous electrical construction experience preferred
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and the NEC
• Ability to read electrical drawings and follow instructions
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely lift, carry, climb, bend, kneel, and work from ladders/lifts as required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Essential Qualifications

• Proven ability to read solar one-lines, string diagrams, and structural drawings and to layout conduit and array geometry without supervision.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and U.S. work authorization required.
• Physical capacity to lift 75 lbs, work at heights, and supply standard electrical tools plus OSHA-compliant PPE.
• Willingness to pass a pre-employment drug screen; OSHA 10/30 a plus.
